BT have advised that the 180+ metres of cabling stolen from the Low Road is being replaced and that the Open Reach engineers are hoping to complete the reinstatement work by the end of Thursday 20th. Obviously this may be extended if further issues arise.
Because the Open Reach network is used by most, if not all, providers of phone and broadband services and not just BT customers, it has affected a great number of properties in the village.
This means that unless Users have an alternative method of viewing the internet, they may be unaware of this predicted resolution. Please pass the word if you are aware of neighbours in this position.
